Circular Quay

Circular Quay is a harbour in Sydney, which is situated between Bennelong Point and The Rocks. The quay is a vibrant hub, full of various different transport options, including ferries which travel to various venues. It is a beautiful harbour inlet, and is a popular venue for tourists to travel to, due to its spectactular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Circular Quay in entertainment galore, and there are often talented buskers and street entertainers offering interest for passers-by. Spending time in Circular Quay is a great way to soak in Sydney's city vibe, and the area also offers a selection of dining options as well as centres for tour bookings, day trips and harbour cruises.

On the east side of Circular Quay are many restaurants and stylish boutiques, along with the large Dendy Cinema. Some of the restuarants on offer include 'ARIA', 'Searock Grill', 'Sydney Cove Oyster Bar', and 'Buckley's'.

At Circular Quay you can wine and dine under and around a stunning venue, take in the amazing architecture and views or go see some of the best live entertainment that Sydney has to offer. It is a wonderful place to be, and is a must for all tourists travelling to Sydney for the first time.

On the western side of Circular Quay is the famous Rocks area with a number of quaint shopping arcades and pretty restaurants. There are also a couple of art galleries in Circular Quay, The Museum of Contemporary Art in an art deco building, and the grand looking Customs House behind the train station.

Other nearby places to visit include the Customs House offering views of Sydney, design exhibitions and wonderful galleries, and the Justice and Police Museum. Circular Quay is also home to some of the world’s luxury cruise liners berth during their stay in Sydney.
